There’s nothing like a professional skin care service, whether a facial or massage. There’s also beauty in treating yourself. As a professional, I do many things myself, so here are some of my favorite at-home treatments.
This is my holy grail and favorite add-on to ANY professional treatment. It offers many benefits, like exfoliation of dead skin cells, improved product absorption, better makeup application, and minimization of pores. Unlike many treatments, it is pregnancy-safe and offers immediate results. Results will vary depending on your technique and home care. Although this can be done safely and is worthwhile at home, it’s always recommended to work with a trusted professional.
This can be done after a long, stressful day, as part of your nightly skincare routine, or after performing dermaplaning. Like serums, masks target specific concerns and improve overall skin health. Your choice of mask will depend on your specific skincare concerns.
What’s not to like about high frequency? It oxygenates the skin and kills acne-causing bacteria, improves circulation in the skin, stimulates collagen production, and reduces inflammation. I recommend this as an add-on and at-home treatment to ALL my clients, especially those with aging or problem skin concerns. This can also be used to stimulate hair growth and improve the scalp quality.
My alternative to botox, filler, and facelifts (no disrespect to any of those treatments). I love Gua Sha, a traditional Chinese tool used to massage the face and body. It helps with lymphatic drainage, reduces puffiness and inflammation, releases tensions, and promotes circulation. It is an amazing way to improve your skin health and connect deeper with yourself. This can be done every day or as often as you see fit.
There you have it, folks! I live and swear by each of these techniques. Enjoy immensely!!!
With love,
H
